Workshops kids – Art & Ebooks by Su

Art attracts everyone’s attention. But when you offer a child art, his brain builds on more contact points because it is an enrichment. The more of these synapses, the more complex the brain becomes. The brain actually protects itself, as it were, against the onset of age-related diseases. Everything that you can contribute to this, especially in the first years of life, are extremely important.

Art offers an experience that children do not get in any other way. Through that experience, they discover the range and variety of what they can feel. They are curious and eager to learn and that’s why art can offer them a lot of fun, peace and even comfort. In short, art inspires young and old. The children develop their creative talents and learn to understand the value of art. Purposefully learning about art and the techniques for designing certain art, ensures that children work on their creative development, thinking skills and discover new talents.

Why is art so important for kids?

Acrylics & Texture classes

Immerse yourself in the world of acrylics. During this workshop, you will step in to the world of colors and brushes.

Painting on different surfaces, mixing colors and creating different effects with acrylic paint will quickly take you to another dimension.

What is so unique about Art by Su’s classes?

Art by Su’s art classes aren’t the ordinary art classes where you only work with acrylics. Not only you will learn about color mixing techniques, but you will also learn to work with my unique texture techniques. This is one of my all favorite tool to create abstract art. I have developed different texture techniques to be able to experiment with them endlessly to create that unique piece of art. You will literally be able to feel this art form with your hand and experimenting with this technique to bring your unique artwork to life.

Extra information

All workshops are open for beginners. The appropriate ages for kids is 6+

It is required to follow min. 2 workshops to complete the artwork.

During the first workshop you will only learn the different types of texture that you can use for your artwork. You will create with the texture the desired shape on your canvas. This should dry completely for the next step in our proces, applying acrylics.

The second workshop is needed to start building layers with acrylics.

Drinks and healthy snacks are provided every class.

All materials are included and the kids will take their masterpiece at home after each class.

The workshop will take place at Lola’s in Downtown (Dunya tower, shop 2) For exact location: instagram -> lolasdxb – An open outdoor space will be provided to unleash the creativity.

It’s also possible to have the workshop at your home if min. 2 kids participate. Create art in your own environment and continue working on it whenever you want. I will come to your home with all the necessary material and equipment to create that unique piece of art.
